COMING BACK TO THE HEART

A Stress Management & Resilience Curriculum

Part of the Native Women’s Wellness Movement care continuum — alongside Women’s Care and Sacred Rest.

Coming Back to the Heart is a trauma-informed, culturally grounded curriculum designed to support individuals, families, and communities in regulating stress, restoring balance, and reconnecting to inner wisdom.

Rooted in Indigenous knowledge and guided by Hummingbird Wisdom, this offering focuses on small, consistent, heart-centered practices that create sustainable change over time.

HOW THIS FITS WITH OUR WORK

Coming Back to the Heart
Foundational nervous system regulation & stress awareness

Women’s Care
Elemental, womb-centered, and lifecycle support

Sacred Rest
Immersive retreat space for deep rest and integration

Together, these offerings form a continuum of care — supporting daily regulation, life transitions, and deep restoration.

OUR APPROACH

All sessions are guided by NWWM’s Four Pillars:

  • Inner Peace & Well-Being
Breathwork, meditation, and nervous system regulation

  • Nourishment
Rest, reflection, emotional processing, and energetic care

  • Healthy Relationships
Relationship to self, family, community, and land

  • Purpose
Intergenerational healing, legacy, and meaningful connection

Practices include breathwork, guided meditation, reflection, storytelling, and somatic awareness — accessible, gentle, and culturally safe.
